For 63 years, Bud Wiggins had been in possession of a set of  Uncle Burt's
 lapel  insignia :   the crossed cannons of the Coast Artillery Corps , and the
 "U.S." brasses ,  that Uncle Burt had worn on his uniform blouse.  
 Bud presented them to me in Aug 2009 for safe keeping.
